Deflection of beam apparatus

Deflection of beam apparatus

MODEL: MB-207

DESCRIPTION:-
Ø Bench mounted apparatus
Ø Consists of a rigid frame approximately 1.15m long with a 1m scale fitted to the front.
Ø The mm division scale is used to indicate the support positions and measure their spacing.
Ø The knife edge and built-in supports are positioned anywhere along the frame.
Ø A range of test beams is loaded by upto three hangers and stirrup units whilst deflections are measure by dial indicators reading to 0,01mm.
Ø A slope indicator is attached to the test beam as required and a position indicator is used to determine the location of the load hangers.

EXPERIMENTS:-
Ø Four point bending test
Ø Influence lines for beam deflection
Ø Deflection, span and load variations
Ø Maxwell’s reciprocal theorem
Ø Deflection of a cantilever including propped cantilever
Ø Fixing moment for a built-in beam
Ø An English Instruction Manual consisting of Experimental Procedure, etc, will be provided along with the apparatus.
Ø The whole set up is well designed and arranged on a rigid structure painted with Industrial PU paint
